A Look Back at 3t Systems Executive Summit 2011

3t Systems held an Executive Leadership Summit in Vail on September 16th, and I knew we struck a chord with this gathering when I received a very nice thank you note from the spouse of one of our clients.  We expect to make an impression on our client, but it’s even more exciting to know that we positively impacted their invited guest. That’s when you know you participated in something that had wider appeal with a different vibe!
 
So what produced that vibe? We have always had a tremendous client base led by highly accomplished and talented executives. However, we were not always successful leveraging that into an effective ecosystem. Why not allow those executives to network, exchange best practices, engage in passionate debate, and hear from engaging speakers on subjects that are relevant to them? That’s why we decided to create a forum for a stimulating peer-to-peer C-level discussion.  You might well ask, “Where does selling technology come into play with that approach?” Well… doesn’t every successful sale start by listening to your clients’ needs and challenges?
 
Not surprisingly, by truly listening to our clients, rather than the other way around, we received the best rating ever for this event.  Comments included:

So what’s next? Clearly there is significant momentum built from this client ecosystem, and we are getting back together in early December to continue the discussion.  The event is invitation only from current 3t Systems’ clients, but if you’re a C-level executive, please let us know if you would like to also be invited.
