Ciaran Dwyer, Chief Executive Officer

Ciaran Dwyer joined 3t Systems in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer, subsequently held the role of Vice President of Corporate Development, and was named the CEO in 2009.  Under his leadership, 3t Systems has become an innovative Ieader in healthcare, finance, and other industries.  In 2012, Ciaran was selected for Nine Lives Media’s fifth annual MSPmentor 250.  The global list identifies the world’s leading managed services provider (MSP) executives, entrepreneurs, experts, coaches and community leaders.  

Before joining 3t Systems, Ciaran was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ireland where his passion for technology-enabled growth and service excellence was cultivated.  Ciaran graduated from Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance, and earned a Masters in Business Studies from the University College Dublin.

Ciaran is a frequent speaker and blogger on the topic of “Business Trends in Technology,” and is an active member with the Association for Corporate Growth, and Vistage International.   He also serves on the Board for the Colorado Irish Festival and is a founder and President of the Irish Network Colorado, a business networking organization sponsored by the Republic of Ireland.

Jan Rutherford, Chief Commercial Officer

Jan Rutherford serves as 3t Systems' Chief Commercial Officer where his focus is on forging business alliances, and developing new go-to-market strategies.  Jan has over 25 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles in marketing, sales, business development, information technology, and training.  Jan is an adjunct instructor at the University of Colorado where he teaches leadership to graduate business students and Doctor of Nursing Practice candidates. 

Jan serves as the Vice Chair, Board of Directors, Visiting Nurse Association of Colorado, and as a Senior Advisory Council Member for the Colorado ESGR.  He is the author of "The Littlest Green Beret: On Self-Reliant Leadership," and also speaks at industry conferences in Europe and across the United States.

Prior to beginning his business career, he spent six years in the US Army Special Forces as a medic and an "A" team executive officer, and three years as a military intelligence officer.  Jan holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Michael Gibbore, Chief Financial Officer

Michael Gibbore joined 3t Systems as CFO in 2012, and brings more than 20 years of financial and operational leadership experience in venture backed start-up, high growth, and turnaround entities.  Mike’s career focus is creating operational process, systems, reporting, and mentoring to accelerate company growth.  Prior to joining 3t Systems, Mike served with a senior leadership team for a start-up venture that grew to $45 million in revenues and achieved an exit strategy of $160 million in four years.

Mike graduated from Wilkes University of Pennsylvania with his Bachelors Degree in Economics and Finance with a concentration in Accounting.  He then joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) for eight years working on engagements in Audit, Tax, and Consulting Advisory services.  During his tenure in public accounting, he was chosen to start an office in Harrisburg, PA, convert an acquired office in Charlotte NC, and serve as part of the consulting group during the breakup of AT&T.

Mike is a member of the Colorado Society of CPA’s, is an affiliate of The Growth Coach (a business and organizational coaching franchise), enjoys getting outdoors and away from the office on motorcycles, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.

Jake Hughes, Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Jake Hughes provides the strategic vision for 3t Systems through his unique understanding of technology within business.  His ability to deeply understand technology and ensure it aligns with organizational needs has allowed him to establish himself as a prominent leader in the IT profession.  Jake started his career as an engineer and architect in the semiconductor industry, but soon found his niche in Healthcare IT. 

The specific high demand workflow requirements and intolerance for traditional computing problems in Healthcare IT provided a high profile proving ground for Jake’s innovative and groundbreaking approach to the field.  Combining experience gained from partnering directly with nurses and doctors to understand the challenges they face has enabled him to enhance the clinical experience and achieve levels of mobility and flexibility not previously available.  Jake focuses his passion, vision and ability to forecast technology trends on fostering powerful solutions driven by organizational strategy and objectives.

An avid pilot, Jake enjoys taking the opportunity to revel in seeing the literal “big picture” from the air as he does in business.   As an active member of the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association he constantly strives to improve his proficiency and experience both in the air and on the ground.  Jake’s natural curiosity and thoughtful consideration afford him keen insights into his surroundings, making him a true agent of change in any environment.

Marion Jenkins, PhD, FHIMSS, Executive Vice President

Marion Jenkins serves on the Advisory Board and as Adjunct Faculty for the Healthcare Leadership graduate program at the University of Denver and as Executive Vice President of 3t Systems.

Marion is a nationally recognized author, blogger, and speaker, with over 80 articles and presentations, and a Stanford University Press contributing author to the MBA textbook, "Business Driven Information Technology".  He is also a frequent contributor to several healthcare websites, including Physicians Practice, Becker's ASC Review, and Coder's Voice.

Marion earned a B.S. in Engineering from Utah State University, and Masters and PhD degrees in Engineering from Stanford University.  He grew up on a potato farm in Idaho, is an Eagle Scout, and a veteran of the US Air Force.
